Two Boards. One Educational Philosophy. A Future-Focused School.
At Jain Heritage School, Electronic City, families have the choice of CBSE or ICSE, within a learning environment shaped by Finnish-inspired educational principles. The academic expectations of the board remain strong. What evolves is the way children experience learning — with greater emphasis on understanding, inquiry, application, collaboration and independent thinking.
Because education today is not simply about knowing the right answer. It is about knowing how to find it.

Education Begins With the Child
Every child arrives with something already their own.
Every child enters school with a different set of strengths, interests, questions and possibilities. Our role is not to make every child learn in exactly the same way. It is to create the conditions in which each child can discover, question, practise, reflect and grow.
At Jain Heritage School, learning is designed to develop both academic capability and personal confidence — so children become thoughtful learners today and capable individuals tomorrow.
Choosing a board is an important decision for every family. It influences the academic pathway, expectations and learning experience your child will encounter.
At Jain Heritage School, Electronic City, families can choose between CBSE and ICSE while remaining within the same educational environment.
A consistent focus on the child's overall development
Our academic counsellors help families understand the differences between the two boards
and consider which pathway best aligns with the child's strengths, learning needs and
future aspirations.
Everything a great school should be. In one address.
A legacy you can trust
We are not a new idea — we are a new chapter. Jain Heritage School is part of the JGI Group, an education network founded in 1990 that today spans 100+ institutions.
Our Whitefield campus set the benchmark for holistic, joyful, high-outcome schooling in Bangalore
Electronic City inherits that standard from day one
Infrastructure built around how children learn
Our campus on Rayasandra Main Road isn't decorated for brochures — it's engineered for curiosity.
STEAM & Robotics labs where ideas get built
Open, safe sports grounds with expert coaching
A library designed to make readers, not just visitors
Dedicated studios for art, music and performance
The Finnish difference
As pioneers of Finnish pedagogy in India, we bring the world's most admired teaching philosophy to both boards.
Whether your child studies CBSE or ICSE, they learn by exploring, creating and reflecting
Play, projects and purpose replace rote and repetition
The whole child, always
Marks matter. But so do character, confidence, empathy and courage.
Four stages — Exploration, Foundation, Formation, Direction
From the first day of Playgroup to the day they step into the world
Every space, programme and mentor on this campus is shared. A CBSE child and an ICSE child use the same labs, the same grounds, the same library and the same studios.
To be an institution of excellence where human development is encouraged through sound ethical values, character-building, leadership and education.

03
Active minds, and the courage to use them
To develop students with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs.

Our Heritage
Before we opened our gates, we earned our name.
Education should be for life, not just for a living.
Dr. Chenraj RoychandFounder & Chairman, JGI Group
Three and a half decades on, that conviction powers a network of more than 100 institutions.
Electronic City is not an experiment — it is that same standard brought to a new community.
And it goes one step further: for the first time, families here can choose between two of India's
finest boards on a single JGI campus.
Jain Heritage School is part of the JGI Group, an educational institution founded in 1990 by Dr. Chenraj Roychand. Over the years, the group has developed an extensive presence across education, creating learning environments that aim to combine academic achievement with broader personal development. The Electronic City campus represents the next chapter of that journey.

Finnish-Inspired Learning, Grounded in Context
Beyond memorising. Towards understanding.
Finnish education has gained international recognition for its emphasis on curiosity, independence, collaboration, problem-solving and meaningful learning. We draw inspiration from these principles while remaining firmly grounded in the Indian educational context and the requirements of the chosen board.
A child may learn a mathematical concept through a real-world problem, explore science through investigation, develop language through discussion and use projects to connect knowledge across subjects. The aim is not to teach less — it is to help children understand more.
01
Wonder
Spark Curiosity
Every lesson opens with a question. Children observe, wonder and explore the world around them.
02
Experience
Learn by Doing
Concepts come alive through hands-on projects, STEAM labs and purposeful play.
03
Together
Collaborate & Create
Students team up to design, build and solve real problems — learning from one another.
04
Reflect
Reflect & Grow
Children review their work, learn from mistakes and take ownership of their progress.
05
Apply
Apply to Life
Knowledge connects to the real world, building future-ready skills, values and confidence.
Learn. Question. Apply. Reflect.
Academic Excellence With Purpose
Rigour and relevance can belong together.
A strong academic education requires discipline, knowledge and high expectations. We believe it also requires children to understand why they are learning, how knowledge connects and where it can be applied.
Our approach encourages learners to move beyond
“What is the answer?”
towards
“How did you arrive at it?”
“Why does it work?”
“Can you apply it differently?”
“What could you do with what you know?”
Because genuine achievement is built on understanding.
Childhood Has Its Own Rhythm
The early years are not a race.
Playgroup to UKG is a period of remarkable development. Children are learning how to communicate, form relationships, regulate emotions, solve problems, make choices and understand the world around them.
Our early-years programme gives children the time and space to play, explore, create, move, imagine and make sense of their experiences.
Purposeful play is not a break from learning. It is how young children learn best.
A school campus should do more than accommodate lessons. It should invite children to explore, create, collaborate, perform, experiment and move. Our Electronic City campus brings together purpose-designed spaces that support different dimensions of learning.
Now Open — Playgroup to Grade 7, growing to Grade 12

What We Hope Children Carry With Them
More than a report card.
A successful education should leave children with more than a report card. We want them to develop:
Curiosity
The confidence to ask questions and seek answers.
Critical Thinking
The ability to examine information, consider perspectives and make reasoned decisions.
Creativity
The imagination to see possibilities and develop new ideas.
Communication
The ability to express ideas clearly and listen with purpose.
Character
The empathy, integrity and responsibility to contribute positively to the world around them.
Confidence
The willingness to try, learn from setbacks and keep moving forward.
Knowledge gives children capability. Character gives it direction.
A question every parent should ask
Will a different approach affect academic outcomes?
Finnish-inspired pedagogy does not mean lower expectations. Children continue to work towards the full academic requirements of their chosen CBSE or ICSE pathway.
The difference lies in how learning is approached. Rather than relying primarily on memorisation, we place greater emphasis on conceptual understanding, application, inquiry, discussion and problem-solving.
We do not see academic achievement and meaningful learning as competing priorities. We believe one strengthens the other.
