The right school.
The right board.
The right start.

Playgroup to Grade 7 · CBSE & ICSE · Electronic City, Bangalore — growing one grade a year to Grade 12. Exactly what happens after you send the form, in the order it happens — including the part where we stop contacting you.

Choosing a school should never feel like a leap of faith. It should feel like clarity.

There is no step in which you are added to a mailing list. We call once. If it is not the right school for your family, that is a perfectly good outcome and we will not chase you about it.

Each grade opens as the cohort below it reaches it, so no family is ever asked to move a child mid-pathway. Grade availability for a specific year is confirmed by our admissions team on your call — if your child would be entering one of the later grades, ask us and we will give you the date rather than a range.

Eligibility by grade

Which stage
fits your child.

For 2027–28 the campus runs Playgroup to Grade 7, in both CBSE and ICSE. A further grade opens every year after that, to Grade 12 — so this table grows, and your child never outgrows the school. The board is chosen at enrolment rather than at enquiry.

Age bands are indicative. The exact cut-off date for the 2027–28 session is confirmed by the admissions team — if your child sits close to a boundary, tell us the date of birth on the call and we will give you a straight answer rather than a policy paragraph. Mid-year and transfer admissions are handled case by case.

"We would rather give you the whole fee structure across a table than a headline number on a web page."

— Jain Heritage School, Electronic City · Admissions
On fees, plainly

Why there is no
fee table on this page.

Not because we are being cagey. Because a single tuition figure is the least useful number in the whole conversation, and it is the one that gets copied, aged and misquoted.

We share the full structure — tuition, meals, supplies, transport by distance, and the discounts and concessions available — during your campus visit, so you get the complete picture rather than a headline number.

Please disregard fee figures listed on third-party school-aggregator websites. Several are years out of date, and none of them are ours.

If you want the numbers before you travel, say so on the call and we will send them to you directly. What we will not do is publish a figure that somebody else will scrape, round and republish two years from now.

Tuition

By grade, for the session you are applying to — not an "average across grades".

Meals

Optional for Pre-Primary. Menus designed by qualified dieticians, cooked on campus.

Transport, by distance

Priced against your actual address and route, because that is the only way it is honest.

Supplies

Books, materials and uniform — itemised, so nothing appears in month three.

Discounts and concessions

What is available, who qualifies, and how it is applied. Asked for or not.

Extended day care

For families who need a longer day — costed separately and clearly.

What you're really enrolling in

A ten-year decision,
not a one-year enrolment.

An application form asks for documents and a fee. The bigger question — will this institution still be here, still be good, a decade from now — deserves an answer too.

Jain Heritage School belongs to the JGI Group, founded in 1990 by Dr. Chenraj Roychand. The group's stated mission is education "from cradle to career," and it means it literally: a child starting Playgroup here enters a pathway that runs all the way to JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) — on whichever of the two boards you choose.

Pre-Primary Grades 1–7 Grades 8–12 · from 2028–29 Jain Colleges JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)

Knowledge makes character.  The group's founding principle, and still the point.

The process, answered

What families ask
about admissions.

Teaching and pedagogy questions are answered on the Pre-Primary and Grades 1–7 pages. These are strictly about the process.

We can't decide between CBSE and ICSE. Can you help?

Yes — that is a scheduled part of the visit, not an afterthought. A counsellor sits with you and, where it helps, with your child, and works through learning style, current strengths, how your family thinks about relocation and competitive exams, and what you want the child to be good at in ten years. We have no preference: both boards run on this campus, so whichever you choose, your child stays with us. If you would rather read first, the CBSE Advantage and the ICSE Edge set out both cases in the same amount of detail.

My child would be in Grade 6 or 7. Will you have Grade 12 by the time they get there?

Yes — that is exactly how the campus is being built. We open one new grade every academic year, starting from Grade 8 in 2028–29 and reaching Grade 12 in 2032–33. A child who joins Grade 7 in the opening year moves up into a grade that opens for them each year, and graduates from the school they started in. See the year-by-year roadmap.

Do I have to lock the board in when I enquire?

No. The board is chosen at enrolment, not at enquiry. Register your interest, come and see the campus, have the consultation, and decide after that. Nothing on the enquiry form commits you to either track.

What actually happens after I send this form?

One of our admissions counsellors calls you, once, from an Electronic City number, to answer your questions and offer a visit slot. That is the whole of it. You are not added to a mailing list, you will not receive a sequence of automated messages, and your details go to our admissions team and nowhere else. We do not sell or share them.

Is there an entrance test?

Not for Pre-Primary. For older applicants there is an informal interaction — we are trying to understand how your child learns, not to rank them. It is the same profiling we do with every child after they join, brought forward by a few weeks.

The campus is open. What am I committing to by registering now?

At the enquiry stage, a conversation. Registering interest for 2027–28 puts you in the queue for a visit slot and gets you the full picture — the campus, the classrooms, the staffing and the fee structure — before you decide anything.

What documents will I need?

You need nothing to enquire. At the application stage the admissions team gives you a checklist — ordinarily the child's birth certificate, recent photographs, address proof, and for a transfer, the previous school's records and transfer certificate. We would rather hand you an accurate list on the call than publish one that drifts.

We are moving to Bangalore mid-year. Can you take a transfer?

Transfer and mid-year admissions are handled case by case and depend on the grade and seats available. Raise it on the call with the child's current board and grade — a CBSE certificate travels, which matters more in Electronic City than in most parts of the city.

Do you offer transport and extended day care?

Yes to both — school transport with pick-up and drop, and extended day care for families who need a longer day. Routes and timings are best checked against your actual address; tell us where you live and we will confirm the nearest route.

What are the fees?

We share the full structure — tuition, meals, supplies, transport by distance, and the discounts and concessions available — during your campus visit, so you get the complete picture rather than a headline number. Please disregard fee figures listed on third-party school-aggregator websites; several are years out of date.

Can I change my mind, or ask you to delete my details?

Yes. Tell the counsellor on the call, or email info@jhselectroniccity.com, and we will close the enquiry. No follow-up, no re-marketing.
